Meet The Artist

Artist Biography
Tim Ross Packer is a self-taught landscape artist based in Chilliwack, BC. His work is rooted in a deep connection to the outdoors — shaped by a childhood spent hiking, fishing, and wandering the mountains of rural British Columbia.
Those early experiences continue to guide his creative process today. Tim paints to slow down, to pay attention, and to share the quiet moments that nature offers — whether it’s the calm of a still lake or the rhythm of a river cutting through rock.
His paintings reflect the familiar landscapes of BC: the rivers, lakes, and forested trails that many of us hold close. Through his art, Tim hopes to offer viewers a sense of place and a moment to breathe.
He’s grateful to everyone who follows along, offers kind words, or brings a piece of his work into their home — each bit of support fuels the journey.
Artist Statement
"For me, each painting starts well before I pick up a brush. It begins outdoors — in the mountains, on the trail, by the water, or deep in the trees. Since childhood i've loved exploring the outdoors - hiking, fishing, and camping and that time spent outside is what fuels my work.
When I start a new painting I’m not aiming to paint the “perfect” landscape. What I’m trying to capture is the feeling of being present — off the grid, surrounded by nature, and fully immersed in the moment. Through my paintings I am able to connect and share this experience with others.
These places and moments are important to me and it is my hope is that my artwork reminds people of what’s out there — and inspires them to go experience it for themselves."
